Charity Mixed Open - 2023
TERMS OF THE COMPETITION
1. The competition format is AM-AM Stableford, Teams of four with the best two scores to count. Refer to the club website for the Rules of the Competition.
2. Open to Visitors and Chester Golf Club members
3. Ball sweep is included in the entrance fee.
4. Players must be bona fide members of a recognised golf club.
5. Handicap Index limit 54. Playing handicap 85% Course Handicap .
6. Teams of 4: any combination of men and ladies
7. Men - White Tees; Ladies – Red Tees
8. Prizes for each category, provided there are at least three teams in any one combination of men and ladies.
9. Closing Date for entries is midnight 7th May. Contact club secretary for entry after this date.
10. If a buggy is required then these must be booked directly with the club professional. Note there are limited buggies available and players should preferably only book one if it is required for medical reasons
CLUB RULES
1. Personal buggies are allowed upon production of suitable insurance documentation. Persons wishing to use their own buggy MUST sign the Club's Buggy Policy before accessing the course.
2. Competitors are required to adhere to Chester Golf Club dress rules.

Congratulations to Steve Taylor from Aldersley Green for getting a hole in one on the 3rd.
All prizes are foregolf vouchers.
Mens teams
First: Kevin Maddocks, Philip Dolman, Ben Minton and Stephen Goddard - all from Prenton GC - each receive a voucher for £50.
Second: Steve Taylor (Aldersley Green), Michael Lowe (Wrexham GC), Paul Garlick (Whitefield GC) and Leslie Peters (Antrobus GC) - each receive a voucher for £40.
Due to a system error, one player was not allocated the correct handicap in the results, therefore, third and fourth places are reversed. Because the results were displayed before the error was discovered, both teams will receive £30 vouchers each.
Third: Iqbal Shergill, David Guerreiro, Aaron Jones and Colin Mills - all from Clays GC - each receive a voucher for £30.
Fourth: Harvey Colbourne (Aston Wood GC), Ashley Colbourne (Cannock Park), Christopher Preston (Brocton Hall) and Steven Cotterell (Brocton Hall) - each receive a voucher for £30.
Mixed Teams:
First: Andy Hawksby, Daniel Hill and Heather Hill (all Chester GC) and Amanda White (Eaton (Chester) GC) - each receive a voucher for £40.
Second: Peter Blundell, Shirley Blundell, Tom Lockwood and Joan Lockwood - all from Penwortham GC - each receive a voucher for £30.
Third: Dave Skinner and Kay Skinner (both from Chester GC) and Martin Ratcliffe and Sue Ratcliffe (both from Carden Park GC) - each receive a voucher for £20.
Nearest the pin on the 8th - Mike Bailey (Warrington GC) - receives voucher for £10.
Nearest the pin on the 17th - Sandra Hughes (old Padeswood GC) - receives voucher for £10.
Nearest the pin in 2 on the 9th - Dan Leonard (Heswall GC) - Receives a voucher for £10
Nearest the pin in 2 on the 18th - Paul McLean (Bootle GC) receives voucher for £10.
All vouchers will be dispatched to the team organiser for distribution.
